This page is dedicated to some of my many forays into the alpine world. Alpine meaning anything that is encountered while pursuing an objective in the mountains, in my case almost exclusively pursuing peaks. So, there are trips with trails and trips without trails. There are trips with steep snow and ice and there are trips with ropes and rock protection.

But, all the trips are described through my words in the hopes of conveying the event through some of the humorous, the serious, and the reflective moments encountered. I try to be honest and open in describing each trip both with regards to my successes and my failures. But overriding it all is my love and passion to be outside, exploring and reveling in the beautiful challenges to be found.
